Since the establishment of the Integrated Technology Group in 1998, it has contributed to enhancing  Jordan’s position in the field of information technology. About Walid Tahabsem:

After receiving his B.Sc. in Computer Science from the Yarmouk University in Jordan, he founded Integrated Technology Group back in 1989. Today, as ITG President & CEO, Mr. Tahabsem leads one of the most successful IT companies offering quality end-to-end products and services for the education and public sectors in more than 20 countries worldwide.

Through the combination of his passion for technology and vision, he was able to grow ITG not only by size, geographic representation, and revenue, but also in technological innovation and in the application of the technology in various fields. Mr. Tahabsem currently serves on the Prince Hamzah Bin Al Hussein School Board and Jordan’s ICT Advisory Council, and is also a board member of the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF). He also serves on the “Endeavor” Board of Directors since 2013, recently taking over as Chairman of the Board, due to his belief in the active role Endeavor plays in enhancing the country’s entrepreneurial ecosystem. He is also a co-founder and a board member of the Oasis500, the region’s premier education and counsellor driven seed investment program. In addition, he is an active member of Saudi Al-Aghar Thinktank, a nonprofit and independent Think-Tank aiming to transform Saudi Arabia to a Knowledge Society.

Recently, and in recognition for his outstanding efforts and leadership in the improvement of information technology and education sector in Jordan, he was awarded by His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein with the Order of Independence to become the first Jordanian honoured in this category. And also he has been granted honorary membership certificate in the Aal Al-Bayt Institute for Islamic Thought In recognition of his scientific and technical efforts.

The Innovation Education Platform workshop was held in the United Arab Emirates on the May the 2^nd 2017 under the patronage of Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge foundation and Qindeel Educational with the strategic partner Integrated Technology Group at the world trade center club, Gathered schools from all over the UAE.

Integrated Technology Group attends The Educational Conference for private Schools conference under the patronage of his Excellency Dr.Omar Al Razzaz the minister of education and the organizer Katatib association for education and educational culture on the 29-30 of April 2017 in Royal Hotel Amman.

The educational conference main core and objectives was to educate quality assurance and accreditations are bases for the educational programs, and the necessity of having a code of values as an essential factor for the development of the educational system.

No Lost Generation (NLG) EdTech Summit is a forum where Edtech innovations and projects from the region that support children most impacted by the crisis in Syria. Was held in Amman, Jordan on March 1-2

The goal of the No Lost Generation (NLG) EdTech Summit, is to bring together people from the private, public, and development sectors to showcase and brainstorm tech-based solutions such as eLearning courses, to the education and skills-shortage challenges caused by the crisis in Syria.

The event is part of the NLG initiative, which supports children and youth impacted by the crisis. Launched in 2013, it covers Syria, Turkey, Lebanon, Jordan, Iraq and Egypt.

Be recalled that this session is a national seminar aims to bring together the relevant parties to discuss the current state of e-learning, and analyze the challenges and priorities faced, and available solutions and the extent of its adaptation of the educational process on the ground with a focus regarding undergraduate.

ITG is an active board member of the Jordan Strategy Forum (JSF) which is an entity that encourages and helps in advocating for positive changes in the country in various aspects.

One of the involvements of ITG in labour related rights and activities is being one of the key initiators of a special initiative to be coordinated through JSF and with the Jordanian Ministry of Labour, to help improve not only the overall labour situation in the country, but also improve the country’s business environment related to labour.

The ministry of tourism signed a common memorandum of understanding with Integrated Technology Group for marketing Medical Services ((one of ITG’s companies)) to launch the first online portal a comprehensive and specialized development and promotion of therapeutic and health tourism in the kingdom, which is the first of its kind in the area.

Where this portal aims to introduce local tourism therapeutic multi-at the local, regional and international levels and capabilities, plus they will represent the main gate, which will be from to facilitate the process of communication and interaction between patients from within and outside the Kingdom and providers of medical services in Jordan in a readily accessible, efficient and around the clock.
