Integrated Technology Group (ITG) is an international, dynamic, innovative, and technology-driven company that operates globally from three regions: ITG Middle East, ITG America, and ITG Africa.
The firm’s strength stems from its dedication to its vision, which hinges on technological innovation, and its ability to identify potential business frontiers well ahead of the competition.
Research and development (R&D) is a central pillar of ITG which is why 7% of the firm’s revenue is reinvested into R&D annually. This allows the firm to maintain its technological lead and continuously develop innovative solutions to meet its customers’ needs.
ITG has a strong local and international presence with deployments in North America, the Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The firm focuses on providing timely, professional services and support to its clients, and strives to maintain the highest possible levels of customer satisfaction.
ITG was founded in 1989 by Mr. Walid Tahabsem, its Chief Executive Officer, with his two colleagues Mr. Mohammed Nassar and Mr. Ali Al Sadi, and exported its first product to the European market the following year. In 1994, ITG acquired JAID Productions, and a year later it released WaveERP®, a comprehensive solution for Enterprise Resource Planning.
Over the next few years, ITG achieved several milestones, which continue to be a source of pride for the firm. In 1999, the development of ITG’s flagship product began. EduWave® is a comprehensive and fully integrated e-learning platform for the management of educational resources and institutions. It was successfully implemented in the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan on behalf of the Ministry of Education: A single integrated e-learning system that brought together 3,200 of Jordan’s public schools and the 1.2 million children, teachers, and administrative staff it educates and employs. EduWave® was not only limited to Jordan, however, as it was also implemented for a school district in the State of New Jersey, in the United States and the Ministry of Education of the Kingdom of Bahrain, to serve all of its public schools.
In an effort to not limit its powerful platform solely to primary and secondary schools, EduWave® took on a second form as well, as EduWave® Higher Education. ITG designed EduWave® Higher-Ed to address the unique and complex requirements of institutions of higher learning. Multiple implementations of this platform have found their home in universities in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Sultanate of Oman.
In addition to EduWave®, ITG developed and brought to market WaveGRP, a comprehensive resource planning platform specifically catering to the needs of the public sector. Its goal was, and remains, to enable government departments, ministries, and agencies to offer a variety of new services to citizens while cutting down on inefficiency. In 2001 and 2012 respectively, ITG developed two all-encompassing online Quranic resources: AlTafsir.com and GreatTafsirs.com. In 2017 ITG launched Al Sirah, a non-profit website and mobile application focusing on the biography of the Prophet Mohammad (PBUH).
Between 2011 and 2013, ITG opened three new offices: in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia; in Silicon Valley in San Jose, California; and in Cairo, Egypt.
Soon after, the firm launched one of its most important projects, the Noor project, implemented by ITG for Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Education. Considered one of considered one of the largest education projects in the region, Noor is deployed countrywide in Saudi Arabia to serve all its education stakeholders.
In recognition of ITG’s outstanding efforts and leadership in the ICT and education sector in Jordan, Mr. Tahabsem was awarded the Order of Independence by His Majesty King Abdullah II Bin Al Hussein in 2015, becoming the first Jordanian honored in this category.
Between 2016 and 2017, ITG launched several projects to serve the international and local public. The World Refugees School (WRS) is a non-profit organization that leverages technology to provide quality education to children in need globally in an affordable, scalable, durable, immediate, and certifiable way. The WRS enables cross-border, multi-curriculum, multi-language, multi-learning-style education that supplements existing education efforts for refugee children worldwide.
Another project was MedXJordan, a subsidiary founded for the purpose of furthering Jordan as a destination of medical and wellness tourism. It specializes in bridging the gap between patients, who may not be in the country, and medical institutions and professionals based in Jordan. MedXJordan uses technology to integrate fully the country’s medical, wellness, and hospitality services to serve patients in achieving the best possible healthcare Jordan has to offer.
ITG's newest project, HASSAD, launched in 2019, is an agritech accelerator that provides its services to support startups, solutions, and SMEs specializing in technology within the agricultural sector in Jordan. HASSAD aims to be a catalyst for the development of the agricultural sector in Jordan through its innovative startups. The way it does this is by building a supportive and stimulating environment that captures distinctive agritech solutions and transforms these solutions into companies capable of scaling, influencing, and accelerating the development of the Jordanian economy.
