Integrated Technology Group (ITG) has been engaged in various community outreach programs since it has been established and always seeks to provide opportunities to its employees to get involved in voluntary work and impact their communities. ITG was one of the sponsors of “Green Caravan Initiative” in collaboration with The Arab Group for the Protection of Nature (APN), it contributed by covering the costs of 1700 trees that were planted in multiple areas in Jordan.
The work was carried out by APN’s volunteers along with ITG’s volunteers and tens of orphans from several refugees camps. Everyone got out into the land and gave a helping hand in an overwhelming atmosphere of enthusiasm and love.
The Green Caravan initiative worked to combat the lack of green spaces and threats of desertification, overgrazing and urban sprawl in Jordan. The project also educated kids and others on the importance of nature and conservation in addition to the environmental impacts of the misuse of agricultural lands.
