Petra University and Jordanian company Integrated Technology Group (ITG) have signed a memorandum of understanding that aims to provide training for the university e-business – Management Information System students, at the company’s different departments. The signing ceremony took place at the university premises, with the presence of Prof. Marwan Muwalla, Vice- President of Petra University, and Mr. Ali Al Sadi, Vice-President of ITG.
Commenting on the MOU, Prof. Muwalla said, “We believe in the importance of our role in creating a skilled workforce, who can overcome the challenges of this rapidly changing world. ITG is considered one of the great supporters of the integration between universities and the labor market, and is always pushing to enhance the level of university graduates throughout the field training that it provides”. On ITG’s behalf, Mr. Al Sadi stressed on the significance of such training and commented “We at ITG are always enthusiastic about establishing strategic partnerships with academic institutions, for their essential role not only in education them but also in transforming and motivating youth. We also believe that the relationship between academia and the industry is crucial in better preparing our children for their future career life”.
